The season opens with a delightful romantic tragi-comedy which follows a 70-year old widow, living a lonely life who decides to join her friends for afternoon tea and meets a similarly lonely man.  The oppressive Iranian regime tried hard to prevent its release, raiding the film’s production premises and banning the co-directors from attending the Berlin Film Festival… where they received a Jury’s prize.
