Almodovar’s first English-language feature film is a thought-provoking drama about friendship, grief and death.  Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton give superb performances as Ingrid and Martha, close friends in their youth working on the same magazine.  They meet again many years later when their friendship is seriously threatened by Martha’s terminal illness.  Won a Golden Lion at the 2024 Venice Film Festival.
