Told over a long Icelandic summer’s day from sunset to sunrise, When the Light Breaks is the tender story of Una, a young art student, grappling with encounters with love, friendship, sorrow and beauty.  Newcomer Elin Hall gives a remarkable performance as Una surviving her hidden grief with memorable scenes reminiscent of Ingmar Bergman’s ‘Persona’.
