Anas, a former rapper, starts working in a cultural centre in Sidi Moumen, a working-class neighbourhood on the outskirts of Casablanca. Encouraged by their new teacher, the students try to free themselves from the weight of traditions and express themselves through hip hop culture. Showcasing talents from beatboxing to improvising to rap, the performers spill out of the classroom, with thrilling dance sequences taking place in the streets and alleyways of Sidi Moumen. A tremendously likeable musical, screened in Competition at Cannes 2021.
