English director Joe Wright, best known for Atonement and Darkest Hour, moves into new territory with this musical version of Cyrano de Bergerac. Peter Dinklage (The Station Agent) gives a vivid performance as the anti-hero, with his mournful eyes and crooked smile, in his wooing of the beautiful Roxanne.
