After a painful journey through Europe, Belarusian Alexei arrives in Paris and enlists in the Foreign Legion. Fate propels him into the Niger Delta where Jomo, a fearless charismatic revolutionary, is battling against the greedy oil conglomerates that are threatening his country’s future. Alexie’s and Jomo’s paths converge and intertwine. The film is enhanced by dynamic cinematography by Hélène Louvart, who won a Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival in 2023, capturing scenery from an African delta to a Paris nightclub.
