In contemporary London, a Chinese-Cambodian woman tries to cope with the sudden death of her son Kai. But then his English gay partner (Ben Whishaw) approaches her and, with the help of an interpreter, they begin to mourn Kai together. A tender, gentle and warm-hearted film.
